I just looked up book value of the Lakers. Shoes at $6.4B

it what really interested me was there was a sale of the team in 2021 which now shows 2 other owners beside the Buss family. They probably needed money as that was the year they signed Westbrook to a $46 M / year contract as they were trying to win another championship We know how that went

OKC may not win it all, and the Clippers are now Power Ranked number 1 but OKC is the way to build a team. Be patient , get the draft choices and ....be patient. Look at Pop for the past few years and this year in particular. Not so. with Doc who refuses to coach a team in rebuild, only a contender. Im betting he is not the answer to get the Bucks across the finish line

Celtics prove they can beat Pacers but Lakers have Knicks coming up . Julius Randle plays his best against the Lakers who couldn't wait on him either

That was a great read. I completely agree. The Lakers have a lot of players with potential that needs developing but the lakers always play each year for a championship which never happens and they give up everything to get nothing

Just what do you think the Lakers could get for him? I doubt very much. And AD is the most overrated NBA player in the last 40 years. I'm afraid your Lakers, while dominating the ESPN world of sports coverage, are a mediocre team going nowhere. Sorry to be so negative (I try very hard not to be) but I'm sick of watching NBA coverage that spends 40% of their air time on the Lakers.

I thought the even better news is that the new look Bucks (who were doing really well until they fired their coach) are now 0-2 under Doc's command. And to make matters worse the Bucks lost in Portland with Lillard's first return to Portland

another reality check tonight for the Lakers as they visit Boston at the Gardens, I hope come trade deadline they suck it up and move on and finish out the season with their hosting team . FWIW IIRC LeBron is an unrestricted free agent next year and can demand to be traded (I hope he does)

I read Jordan sold his majority shares already. LeBron has a slim chance by telling the new majority owners he'll play for them for free and get some tiny shares.

Lakers leading by 3 at the end of the 1st. It's difficult to enjoy a such a game when 2 starters of the Lakers are out. The young Lakers have a chance to play ''without limitations''.

Agree Steve. That is the team that Darwin Ham CAN coach. There is a play sequence, no big brother directing Reeves, D Lo and the young players. I've always felt that a coach cannot get in 100% of his ideas or tactics with LeBron in the game. It's like there are 2 coaches, and the playing coach is very influential.

I can’t believe this game. Lakers drop threes from everywhere but Reaves, Russell and Hachimura were stellar. Lakers take down the mighty Celtics in Boston

This was the Lakers entire bench that won the game. I hope Jeannie sees that they can win when LeBron sits. This was young raw talent playing their game rather than touching the ball and then pass to LeBron
