Audio Ads that Drive Me Nuts

It doesn't drive me nuts, but I wonder what's the deal with Linn Audio of New Hampshire. They regularly advertise in Stereophile, yet every photo on their site is clearly photoshopped.

Is there a reason to make low efficiency box speakers in this day and age?

Deep bass and slim, high(ish) WAF design = low efficiency box, such as Salon 2.

Stereophile measured 28B to have a peak output of 1300w @ 8 ohms, 1800w @ 4 ohms and 1050w @ 2 ohms.

What can be done with windows?

About 50 sqm (~-540 square feet) is likely what I will be able to afford. I'm planning a move from city to countryside, and currently renovating my apartment before I will sell it. So the listening room construction is not a immediate concern, but I've of course been thinking about it and also...

What can be done with windows?

Hi all, my first post here. This is a hypothetical scenario (at least for the moment), but let's say I would be building a new 2-ch listening room from the ground up. Would it be possible to have large windows on the front wall and still achieve good acoustics?
