How real does it sound?

I find most recordings quite lacking and they could easily be much better. That just makes the good recordings more special. I can still enjoy Tom's Diner even though the recording is inferior. No big deal. E T

What do you use for vibration isolation?

I use a bunch of things. My rack is a QSC with solid Maple legs, composite shelves and pin/cup between shelves. This greatly improved with Herbies pucks under the pins that contacted the floor. I've used several different footers for various components including DIY varying the compliance of...

New double LP with both Direct Cut and Master Tape coming soon showdown

Did you know that LaserLight made CD's from the Crystal Clear Records Direct to Disc recordings master lacquers? Excellent sounding. Much better than the tape noisy Sheffield CD's. Sadly they are out of print but they are there. Charlie Byrd, Cal Tjader to name a couple. E T
