    Schroder LT x Kuzma 4 point x Graham Elite x SME V-12

Correct, I use Grand Prix Audio Silverstone F1 racks which have some sway to them, plus was on a 2nd floor so some flex in the floor joists.

    Schroder LT x Kuzma 4 point x Graham Elite x SME V-12

I used a Lyra Atlas, I have a friend that had a Lyra Etna and Olympus. I know the Lyras are a good match...

    Schroder LT x Kuzma 4 point x Graham Elite x SME V-12

I agree with your points. I'll add that I've since moved from my 4-point to the Safir-9, it's a MUCH better arm in all areas. At this point, it's, by far, the favorite arm I've owned vs the SME IV.Vi, Tri-Planar, LT, Centroid and the previous 4-point.

    Nagra HD phono prototype

Ditto, I land a lot around 55. But as hi as 75 low about 45. I hear what you're hearing ...

Grand Prix Audio Monaco 3.0 turntable

I did the new motor, new bearing, new platter coating, I am sure a few other things, but skipped the quick change arm board. Saved a buck but wondering If I really want that too now that I have my Safir 9 arm with no interchangeable head shells...

Grand Prix Audio Monaco 3.0 turntable

Hi, Tima, link didn't work for me. I was charged $19.5k for the 3.0 Computer and $14.5 for the battery from my dealer. And I did them once at a time (battery wasn't quite done at the time). The computer alone on a Monaco 2.0 is a BIG deal (I had the 2.0 at the time). Then I added the...

    Transparent Audio: Gen 6 Announcement

Once you hear it, the price isn't (as) obscene. It is crazy good and on the order of better preamps and amps or new speakers. It's a significant performance increase in the areas of realism, extension, palpability, MUCH more quiet and resolution, but portrayed so naturally.

    Transparent Audio: Gen 6 Announcement

You got it. It's all there, just presented in a more natural and musically rich way. A few weeks ago a violin quartet was playing at the airport. What I heard there live, no amplification, sounds just like what I hear with Transparent cabling... I do like Transparents upgrade program, let's...

    Upcoming Nagra turntable

Nagra is really on a roll with new products. It's great to see a super high end company flourishing ! I think you are right, they've sold that run of tables...I am very curious how this sounds. Doesn't seem to be major differences, a lower end platter, power supply, and copper arm cable...

    Rockport Lyra

Congratulations ! YES they are heavy, I had 5 piano mover to get up my stairs. I bet you move them around some as they break in. I found very small 1 cm changes you can hear...even rake angle on the footers. It's a fun process, then all of sudden your like, don't change it again, that's the...

    Kuzma SAFIR 9

I can use some help on VTA adjusting. My dealer and I got it 100% dialed in for 180g records. Listening, measuring, adjusting, listening until we both agreed that's the spot. It's a wonderful arm and clearly can hear very small changes. With out any markings on the cylinder that holds the...

Nagra HD Pre Amp arrived today

Who has tried different tubes in their HD Pre or Phono? I have RTC labeled Mullard 7308's in my phono stage and Amperex Miniwatt 7308's in my preamp. I think I like the Amperex better, more even, more dynamic, more extended. The mallards are still pretty darn nice with a bit of warmth and...

    Kuzma SAFIR 9

I don’t think it sounded hard. Definitely a different sonic portrayal than I am used to. I am 100% thrilled with my Cardas Clear wired Safir. Glad I went this route.
