    705 S2 Vs. 805 D3

How do these 2 models compare? While the 705 S2 cost $2,500 a pair, the 805 D3 cost $6K a pair. Do the 805 D3 sound that better in your opinion? Thanks for your input.:D

    A Great Solid State $5K ~ $7K Amp

I believe you, some gear audio doesn't work good together. Also depending of what sound quality you are coming from, one can get a bad taste of a particular amp, preamp, speaker, DAC, etc.

    A Great Solid State $5K ~ $7K Amp

Thanks though! No worries, no problem. Another thing tough, I guess we'll have an Audio show here in Orange county in June, I want to go to take a look of lots of good gear. Anyone here has more details about this audio show en Orange Country, CA? Thanks.

    A Great Solid State $5K ~ $7K Amp

Thanks for your suggestion though, I'll take a look, I totally believe you. Sometimes a setup works perfect for some reason, so many factors involved, so complex, but at end we'll get it right.

    A Great Solid State $5K ~ $7K Amp

Thanks for your reply stephen_volker, I'm located in southern California. I'm shopping for a good amp/speaker combo, as a matter in fact I have a demo audition today near Beverly Hills. Still considering many options. I'm having lots of fun.:D I sent you a PM.

    A Great Solid State $5K ~ $7K Amp

Sorry, I meant the B&W 805 D3 bookshelf speaker, not the 803 D3 full 3 way. Yes, going the B&W 805 D3 plus 2 subwoofers route is a great idea, complex to do but would save me lots of money. The B&W DB2D subwoofers are $7K for the pair and they have the same identical drivers of the 800 D3...

    A Great Solid State $5K ~ $7K Amp

Thanks for your suggestion though, I was just talking today with a guy who has the 7B3 monos 600 watts for $12K, he was talking me out of the 4B3, he says that the 7B3 is much, much better amp. Well, it doubles the power of the 4B3 and of course doubles the money; way out of my initial budget...

    A Great Solid State $5K ~ $7K Amp

Wow! you are really committed to this amp! This is great! :D Nice setup! Well, I try not to have a weak link in the whole system. Even a bad cable, interconnect or weak connection makes a difference in a complex sound system though. Thanks for your kind offer but I live in southern...

PS Audio Stellar M700 Mono amp

Do you guys have any opinions about this amp? Any kind of experience with this amp? I'm told it is a great amp, 350 watts mono, no heat, great sound, very light weight, Thanks.

    If you could..what would you......??

    If I could, I'd get the B&W 800 D3 ($30K) with the Bryston 28B3 mono 1,000 watts ($22K) or the 803 D3 ($17K) with the Bryston 7B3 mono 600 watts ($12k) I guess with $100K I'd be OK including a good Turntable, a good Preamp, a good DAC for 24/96 audio files, speaker cables, interconnects and a...
