    What Cartridge(s) Is Everyone Using

After fooling arround with a Shure 15 and Jico SAS I decided for something entirely different - at least for the next few days :): Now playing "Ascenseur pour l' échafaud" (Miles Davis)

One month later - so how did you get allong with your new old SPU GE, do you like its sound?

I thought I might give it a try

Lots of raving about Jico SAS needles recently and again in combination with the good old Shure V15 which I didn't appriciate very much in my earlier days. I while ago I got me a SAS needle from Japan, planned to cannibalise it for repair of a vintage MC and the recent fuzz about Shure then made...

FLO's journey with the Micro Seiki RX-1500

Hi, BL-91, BL-91L, RX-2000 and the full RS, RY, RX & SX-1500 range use the same S-1500 bearing. There is an adapted version for the vacuum versions though, still very much the same. Best regards, Tony

Another one of these vintage SLs: I found this one in Belgium, it's a N.O.S. Ortofon SL15 ELL in an M shell and it sounds very good. Best regards, Tony

If you get the opportunity to listen to one of the vintage Ortofon SL cartridges then go ahead. There is something special about the various SL15 and SL20 incarnations, it's the sound of first generation SPUs: Best regards, Tony
