Wadax World Premiere at Munich Highend

From the visual appearance by far the best Wadax design  Is there a DAC inside?

DAC architecture reimagined - the Cascade DAC

TBH, the big mistake of MSB was selling Digital Directors as add-on to their existing line. It would have been much better introducing the DD later with the Cascade.

Gryphon Audio Announces First Turntable With Helmut Brinkmann!

From what I can see on the pictures I wouldn't prefer this table to an original Brinkmann one. The motor configuration doesn't make sense to me.

Gryphon Audio Announces First Turntable With Helmut Brinkmann!

This seems not to be correct, they are placed 90-degrees from each other.

Cessaro Alpha Horns + Taiko + Kronos + DIY DAC and Interview With Vassil -- He Prefers Digital!

Vassil, interesting will be Olympus XDMI analog output vs XDMI AES/SPDIF into the Audio Mirror DAC prototype. I don't think Audio Mirror will get XDMI native or am I wrong?

Cessaro Alpha Horns + Taiko + Kronos + DIY DAC and Interview With Vassil -- He Prefers Digital!

Great interview @Ron Resnick ! I think it was with @nenon from the community here. The best was that digital doesn't start with the DAC

    New MSB Cascade DAC

The second and third for sure, I don't know about the first. @Aries Cerat have the Olympus in their room but I don't know if they go via USB or XDMI(AES or SPDIF) output. I would bet they use XDMI.

DAC architecture reimagined - the Cascade DAC

Yes, my understanding is that they did separate the DD and the DAC in such a way that the DAC needs the DD to exist, the DAC does the conversion only nothing more. All other tasks are "directed" to the DD. Why the existing DACs can not be upgraded is beyond my understanding. I don't see any...

    Munich HighEnd 2024

As WVL offer a nice compression driver, the WVL AD-2544 for a frequency range 800Hz and above, I am wondering why they don't use it in a two-way speaker. Do you know why? Thx

    New MSB Cascade DAC

Agree, it will be paired with Lampi Poseidon in this room: https://www.whatsbestforum.com/threads/lampizator-introduces-native-xdmi-functionality-the-next-horizon.38709/#post-965941

    New MSB Cascade DAC

I think the Cascade is better and cheaper, so I would say no. IIUC, Sentinel will replace Select.

Introducing Olympus & Olympus I/O - A new perspective on modern music playback

Now one week before Munich a full disclosure should be possible. I see Taiko Olympus at Aries Cerat, anywhere else? Thanks
