Here’s a thought, the only Koetsu I have heard or even seen in person is one thought of as Yoshiaki Sugano designed and built by Musashino Labs. Not all of these early Koetsu Blacks are known for the best tracking (some did track fantastic, mine sure does) but they all have a good share of...

I respect they didn’t want to sell off to another manufacturer to make a Koetsu 2.0 Company. Kiseki was an admirable brand before they first stopped making their beloved cartridges. The next version of Kiseki never quite achieved a similar following or regard and has been fraught with...

Excellent review. Mirrors my own Koetsu experience, in better words than I used, and serves as a reminder of why I plan on staying with Koetsus going forward.

Now I have to see what kind of deal I can get for adding Max to my lineup just to watch that! Thanks. The Seven Samuari is a classic I need to watch again.

Reno Hi Fi Closing In 2024

Soo, I’ve checked back at the Suncoast website repeatedly over the last couple months and they don’t appear to have had any pre owned Pass Labs products to sell. I’m getting a feeling they’re simply not going to be the next Reno HiFi. Maybe something else, but not Reno.

Hallelujah! Seriously! That just made my day and then some. By “full retipping service” I do hope they meant full Koetsu rebuild service.

    Kuzma cart differences: CAR30-40-50?

I’ve read some very good reviews of the 30, 50 and 60 Car models. At 17grams each they’re too heavy for either of my turntables otherwise I’d love to hear one in my system.

No matter what happens regarding Koetsus future plans I think the cartridges they have thus far made will always have a lot of significant value to collectors. If they shut down as a company my plan would probably be to just lightly use my own Koetsu until it finally starts showing signs of...
