Make sure to check out our panel on reel-to-reel tape at this year's Axpona 2024! We've brought together manufacturers of tape machines and software, recording artists, engineers and last but not least reviewers for an exciting and lively discussion on the reel high-rez music medium.
Filled this year with even more mouth watering goodies than ever!

Of the three JATP tapes that I’ve listened to, the recent Late Night reissue from 2XHD is the best. And that’s saying a lot considering the quality of the two AudioNautes releases (JATP 1/2).
This is a requirement for all Positive-Feedback writers.
All you need to do is click on the author’s name and a box should pop up with the reviewer’s reference system and which pieces are on loan and which pieces the reviewer owns.
An example is included.
Having that much tonearm wire pulled out of the SAT arm tube is neither normal nor correct. Your setup person has pulled way too much wire out and that could conceivably affect the arm’s travel across the lp or at worst break the wire.
Your setup person needs to get something like a pipe...
Sorry none. That’s really the only spot in the room for the rack.Of course, the advantage here is keeping the IC runs as short as possible and keeping costs down.
Can’t be too bad, though, given the sound. :)
Just to be technical. The Podusz-Gorlich driver is not a Zellaton driver. The P-G is Gorlich's (who is related to the original Zellaton inventor) take on the Zellaton driver that is popular among the DIY crowd. It was also used in the Ensemble speaker.
And another speaker that used a P-G driver.
Nice to hear from you David.. Geez that seems like another lifetime...
Yes my pics and videos are always getting photobombed by one to three cats.

One other thing worth pointing out is that...
You realize the Plural Evos are a totally new design from Zellaton?
There's way to much of the "I heard" going around.
As far as the bass goes. The music we listened to speaks for itself.
Hi Ron! Good to see you and glad you thought of dropping by to hear for the most part new system! Lunch was also great at our favorite local restaurant French restaurant Cafe D'Alsace.
And we were lucky that Tuesday was a perfect listening day- a low humidity and temp summer day in New York...
For the record. Both Nick’s phonostage and the system have undergone significant upgrades since Ked’s visit 3 or so years ago. PeterA heard the system last fall (?) in close to its current incarnation. (The only change since Peter visited--and a worthwhile improvement—was the addition of a newly...
Just received some exciting news from Patrick Sinegal of Reeltronix. It appears that his new Reeltronix reels will be available in about four weeks. Patrick expects, if he can get 60 preorders (email at gideon1967@aol.com), that the “standard” reels will retail for $450. The price of the...
Perhaps a link to the thread from "the other forum" would be more useful than having to take excerpts. :) I think there's many other thoughts there.

It's been four years since my review of Patrick Sinegal's superb looking and even better sounding Reeltronix reels appeared in the pages of Positive Feedback. Patrick's Reeltronix reels--are light years beyond anything being currently built-- not to mention what has ever been available to the...
Presumption of innocence" serves to emphasize that the prosecution has the obligation to prove each element of the offense beyond a reasonable doubt (or some other level of proof depending on the criminal justice system) and that the accused bears no burden of proof.[22] This is often expressed...
