1. It's so called Luxury Edition limited to 26 pairs of Trio G2 series before the introduction of Trio G3 owned by Todd ( @sbnx) .The main differences to the regular G2 Trios are : more rigid frame, better capacitors and internal cabling ( gold/silver afaik).

BTW Jérôme André was the man behind the Audio Aero La Fontaine and La Source projects. I still keep the former, is a very good sacd/cd player and usb DAC and can be upgraded by Vermeer Audio which also provide a service for those two AA models.
I have one album of Ma Vlast in sealed box as an long time « investment » and the other one for listening.
Now I ordered Dvorak 9th with jpc.de, the best price for european customers if am not mistaken.
Thank you @MikeHorns and @Mike Lavigne for recommendations...
I do not know if I may but Lukasz told me at the reception of my Pac that in his private system he listen now to Pac 2 for the charme of DHT. I am also sensitive to this kind of distortion ;)
I upgraded my Pacific to Pac 2 specification and listened without any burning in for 2 hours . The DAC is audibly quiter, no hum whatsoever, darker background, I have also the impression it has a bit lower gain which is good in my effective system with Trio LE 26.
The next day I left for...
I buy on regular basis Fone in native DSD files from nativedsd.com , it happened to me to buy also several Fone sacds .
I have " Madame Terra " in native DSD , outstanding music and sound quality. Now I will download "Canto Stafano", one can't be wrong with Fone:)
Clear, you know Ked that I admire and respect your experience but probably our sound preferences are a bit different.
For me it is obvious that the choice about the components we make is always a matter of accessible options. Then the setup at home is a matter of visual, acoustic and - last but...
I am for last 13 years or so a " horn guy " and I had a lot of magic moments listening to Duo Omega and Duo Mezzo XD :)
I start to think that there is something wrong with me ;)
I like also other constructions - among others some Cessaro, Acapella , Living Voice , hORNs , Destination Audio or...
Yes and no;) Sounds very much taoist, no?;)
Yes - the living room is quit big ( around 100 sqm) but no - I have no so much space for basshorn/spacehorn because I want to keep the 3 sources and amplification between the speakers.
I have a line of power sockets behind the rack and all cables ...
My experience with 4 REL subs and Trio 26 LE ( much heavier and thus less resonant that the standard XD version ) is that the best place for the subs was the inner space - not outside - and just behind the big horn. The integration is not an easy task, I started with 2 subs behind the...
No Christoph, I have never tried RK 5u4g in Crossfire.
I am now using hybrid A100 in my setup but when I will be back to C3 I will follow your and Brad recommendation for NOS 6n6p.
The KR 5u4g Lampi edition was just at my hand as a part of tubes inventory. KR brought more transparency and selectivity compared to EML which it replaced. It was first installed in Pacific , but when I bought RK edition for Lampi I tried regular KR in Crossffie and I liked it more than EML.
The...
The upgraded power supply and caps in my Cross III make a difference from standard version, not only tubes.
Maybe one day I will audition at home SET 42 , but for now I am quite happy with the amplification.
I had also Entropy for a while, I agree with your comments.
As far as Crossfire III is concerned I heavily upgraded mine a few years ago , installed red NOS RCA tubes in pre section and KR 5u4g rectifier.
The power tubes have around 6000 h but are still in good shape.
I use it in winter month, in the summer it is replaced by upgraded hybrid Circle Labs...
not yet, have to work further on integration of monitors with subs;)
The funny thing is that today market value of PS 5.1 monitors is less than costs one of my power cords in the main system.
Hi Charles,
The title of the recording is Trouble in Mind, I am now out of home ,will check the title of this specific track after I am back.

Before I switch to the upgraded Circle Labs A100 here is my Crossfire III SET , Archie Shepp , vinyl from SteepleChase recording studio.
Ked said this one sounds good so I am bit more keen to post it here;)
No hocus-pocus, just simple Iphone 12 mini .
Here are my 4 Carbon Specials .
I agree with @ricjor1 that the passive radiator makes the integration more compilcated but I am trying to tune the system to my liking and with good recordings I am quite pleased. I am affraid I have no space for No 32.
Sorry if it was not clear.
In my post I tried to answer the 3rd @caesar question.
”Can horn speakers integrate subwoofer stacks with their own sub stacks or 3rd party stacks without losing their magic?”
Imho - yes, they can. To the certain degree.
After many years with AG bass sattelites in Duo Omega and short basshorn with DSP in Duo Mezzo XD I wanted to try something different with carbon membrane instead of Beyma paper woofers.
Jugde for yourself if you like the result.
The bass quality depends very much on the recording and the mastering.
No idea about the recommended power of the amp, will have a look on their website.
The reason I do not make films is that distracts me, I prefer concentrate on the sound. It was so different from other rooms , much closer to the live music. I have heard their smaller speaker ( Genuin ?) with...
