    What did you have before?

Incredible sound from the Audionet Heisenbergs.

There are enough variables in our rooms, equipment, power to artificially flavor the sound. For me, I'd probably not buy Dartzeel if the amps are over accentuating the mids. YMMV.

$465K USD. 5 - way design. Even with the 4-way Giya line as in my Spirits, the drivers are loafing, responsible for only ~2 octaves each. The Moya, especially in the mid - bass to bass is loafing = effortless ;-)

Belt Drive vs Direct Drive and which one?

Congrats. I'm implementing your TT's Minus K isolation tech under my table shortly. I'm sure that plays a role in the music floating as I've heard another excellent table with a Minus K and it also had that airy ethereal quality to the vinyl. Enjoy!

    Best phono stage?

And you are in a small minority. As you climb the $ ladder DIY becomes irrelevant especially in high - end audio.

Some customize their PC, most could care less. Trust me, I work for one of the major OEMs. ;-)

And that % is minimal compared to those that don't. Also "many" is relative. Define the specs? The industry defines the specs based on business cases and technological capabilities.

    Best phono stage?

Sorry, wrong answer, the consumer PC industry figured this out many moons ago. Noone cares about the fastest, most memory, the processor frequency, SSD size and speed, cooling solution design / capability, material density and durability, and / or how it all works together - the vast majority...

    Best phono stage?

"These many" = data points based on listening, not based on your (and others) often lauded conventional design approach and myopic view. Also, the end goal is the what - the sonics not the how. Should all customers know the exquisite details of how their products are designed?

    Best phono stage?

No, I heard the Nagra about 8 months ago, so as not the latest.

    Best phono stage?

Thank you. Are you comparing the Nagra to the 4 - box CH phono pre? BTW, I've heard both the CH 4 box and the Nagra and as good as the Nagra is, the Ch is simply more resolving and tonally accurate.

Can you please send link(s) to those reviews? Also, I find a good data point is often - what do reviews with the funds and connections to procure the best of the best own? One example - Fremer and Harley both own CH Precision. ;-)

    Best phono stage?

and yet the CH Precision is lauded as the best phono pre by many..

How Good a CD Transport is Required to Sound Better than Streaming?

You left out one major attraction to vinyl that drew me back as of recent - the flood of exemplary remasters, many (most?) of which are not being made available on digital. So if you want the best sounding version of Miles Davis, Stan Getz, Duke Ellington, etc. along with a great deal of rock...

It depends on the music server and CD player's output quality.

Great info on this thread. I recently purchased an H7000 and love it. It came with an Amperex 5U4GB rectifier tube for the PSU. Any recommendations to best tubes for this unit would be much appreciated.

    DS Audio Ionizer

So your point is - you either need a humidifier or an ionizer to avoid static, correct? Not everyone wants to run a large, noisy large - space capable humidifier, so what's the solution to avoid static? An ionizer. ;-)

    DS Audio Ionizer

Dust will fall wherever the air flows from HVAC and other sources including hot / cold ambient air and will land on objects in its path. Also, any charged object may attract dust causing further accumulation, like your LP on the platter. With an ionizer, the charge is neutralized which reduces...

    Best phono stage?

Congrats, I've heard the Allnic and the CH P1 in the same system and I felt nothing was lost with the CH. In fact, the CH had better resolution / clarity, better dynamics and more bass heft retaining all (or darn close) to all the tube benefits of the Allnic. I've also heard the P10 which is at...
