Anyone try or use Sigma analog interconnects. I am considering upgrading my Yter RCA interconnect. I am also considering Audioquest Fire, Nordost Tyr2 and Tellurium Q Silver Diamond. Has anyone compared the Sigma IC to other brands?
I recently bought a Venom NR12. It's a very nice cable, especially for the reasonable price. I have it hooked up (with an adapter) to my Apple TV 4K. It replaced an AQ NRG 1.5. So far, the picture quality is more lifelike and simply looks better!
I currently have an Alpha NR connected to my power distributor (AQ Niagara 1000). I was thinking of replacing the Alpha NR power cord with a Sigma NR. Has anyone compared the Alpha NR to the Sigma NR?
The V10 is 10 awg the V12 is 12 awg. The smaller the awg the better. The V10 is twice the conductor size of the V12. So, the V10 is the better one. Maybe you got your cables mixed up?
Either way, the V10 will be better, even on source gear.
The first one is between a switch and the streamer DAC.
The whole setup is modem - Alpha Ethernet- router-AQ Forest ethernet (28 feet)-switch. From the switch, it goes to the streamer DAC, a Mac Mini (used as a NAS) and an Apple TV.
I received my second Alpha ethernet cable. It replaced an AQ Cinnamom between my modem and router. I experienced another lift in sound quality listening to Tidal. Clearer sound and better definition.
Do you mean between the modem and the router? I currently have another Alpha ethernet on order. I will use it between my modem and the router. It will be replacing an Audioquest Cinnamon. I will report back.
I got my Shunyata Alpha ethernet cable last week. So far so good! It is better sounding than the Nordost Blue Heaven it replaced. It is more neutral, more detailed and quieter than the Nordost. I have another one on order. :)
I have an Alpha HC and Alpha NR. They are both remarkable cables. I also really like that the Alpha NR, is really flexible for such a big cable. It makes cable dressing much easier.
I cannot compare the Delta NR directly to the older Zitron cables. But, I replaced the Venom Digital on my Rega DAC R with a Delta NR. The Delta NR is significantly better than the already very good Venom Digital. Lower noise and simply more music and details.
I don't have an exact answer to your specific question. But, I am using a Shunyata Alpha HC power cord with a Niagara 1000. They work great together! I had the Alpha HC hooked up to a Cablepro Revelation 8 outlet power bar, with Venom Defender before the Niagara 1000. That setup sounded very...
It's hard to say, because I did not have my Cobra and Delta NR on the same equipment. I believe I have read in another forum, that the Delta NR is better than the Cobra. Maybe Caelin or Grant can confirm. The Delta does not have ZiTron, but has VTX conductors, NR and the KPIP process that the...
I don't mean to be pushy, but does someone have an answer to my question? Maybe my question wasn't seen by Caelin or Grant. Either way, the Hydra HC VTX is a great power cord.
I have had a Venom 3, Venom Digital, and now a Delta NR power cord. They are all good, but the Delta NR is exceptional. I use it on a DAC, and it is a much better cable than either Venom. You can get this cable with confidence.
The Delta NR does have a CCI filter. NR means noise reduction. All NR cables have CCI filters. It is the EF versions that do not.
What the Alpha has the Delta doesn't, is the Zitron technology. The Alpha is also bigger at 8 AWG, versus 10 for the Delta.
I have had a Shunyata Delta NR power cord for about 10 days now. It replaced a Venom digital on my Rega DAC R. Simply put, wow!
Now the Venom digital was very good. I started with the stock cord, then a Venom 3, followed by the Venom Digital. Each time there were noticeable improvements in...
I have a question for Caelin or Grant. What kind of connectors are on the Hydra HC VTX power cord? Are they Copperconns? If not, do they have all copper contacts like the Copperconns?
