Next level is connecting to the Olympus battery-based PSU module, but no internal changes to the Extreme (maybe a dedicated output for a propriety connection to the Olympus PSU).
Not sure if this is the right thread to ask this question:
Will the Extreme server stay in the line-up after the Olympus is introduced? Any plans to change/replace the Extreme after the Olympus is out?
Yes, I do. It's the longest coming soon I've encountered :)
I hope it will be ready sometime...
I plan to mount it with my AnalogTechnik DMT25, right now I use the Bokrand arm.
Isn't it possible to have 2 linear arms on the Vyger? If so, that would be the best solution for such a comparison.
I have not owned the RS, nor do I have the Vyger, but from my experience, the Sumile mono does things that no stereo cartridge that I've heard on my system does.

At the moment.
Why shouldn't Kawai, Yamaha and other manufactures not be able to come with a similar solution.
I think it's only a matter of time (if they decide it's beneficial).
The CH combo drives my speakers better. But the Genus has a magical tone to it that I could easily live with even if underpowered.
The Genus is not at all an “entry” level amp.
I have not.
In my system, I have yet to compare it to similar level electronics.
I have the Aries Cerat Genus as well, and I find it at a very high level for an integrated amp.
As a follow-up, I plan to further explore Aries Cerat electronics.
I enjoy the best of both worlds.
I have an Allnic 7000 and a CH P1.
I only use the P1 with its current inputs as I find the “standard” MM/MC input under par at this level.
If you use cartridges with low impedance, the P1 is one of the best phonos out there.
I was "burnt" many times with s/h record purchases.
Rating were off (many times), from various discogs ("respected sellers") and other s/h shops.
I also recall working tediously on trying to align and re-align my entire analog set-up due to distortion and other issues I've had with DG...
It's not part of the original source series.
I've bought the Songs without Words 3LPs a few years ago.
It was OK, but nowhere near the level of the original source series.
I was wowed by these at Munich high end:

The designer is crazy (in a good way for us audiophiles) and also builds one of the best turntables/tonearms in the world.
Also would recommend Kharma, Clarysis, Zellaton, Alsyvox.
Listen before you buy.
