I can understand that. Way back when I used to track, I sold my duc (998) and bought a Yammi r6 for track.

Swapped the duc for a zx6r with titanium system , i like the supersport also a lot more fun on the track , if that market drops some , i ll buy a aprillia rsv 4 RF or a yamaha 2015 R 1 , note kawasaki is also coming out with a new ZX 10 r (2016 )

I Just came back from a work trip , i visited a factory in Poland and Hungary and decided to go by motorbike ( at almost 40 ct / km ) lol , so i made some profit on the way .
The new Garmin XT works perfectly and the screen is much clearer then the old one

4500 km in 12 days

Since i have my BMW IX1 for daily commute / practical driving i could see myself buying a DUC again the V4 engine is said to be something , also much less maintenance costs then the V twin.

There is a beauty for sale here in belgium , a V4R for the occasional adrenaline kick.

Ps fullfils all your audiophile wishes when you open the throttle

IMG_20220630_141109_01 - Copy.jpgnever owned a sb but this pulls hard to 175 mph and with street gearing and surprisingly good qs is really quick off the line. I have rerouted that wire since this pick at the blue ridge pkwy summer 22.

Nice streetfighter V 4 S??

The climate in spain is much more suited to motorcycles
Yes, its a pretty standard Streetfighter V4S. It is the first bike I have bought with my heart, as opposed to my head. Normally I try to devise sensible reasons for a purchase, but there is nothing sensible at all about this thing.

And yes, with only 30 wet days a year and high quality roads, Valencia a great place to ride a bike.

I’ve had a couple of 1098s over the past 15 years and they were fantastic on an open road with a decent amount of throttle / revs to escape the closed loop fuelling system. Well made and reliable too but the rawness (and thigh roasting) in traffic gets you down and I recently swapped over to a BMW R9T Racer for a different experience.
