Do audiophiles really pay $20 for an old brochure? We've been sending them out for free when we get requests for old brochures. (but we moved to electronic soft copies for the past 5 years) I've always wondered why my sister insisted on not trashing all the old brochures.

What do you think? One of the pleasures of vinyl is the large, glossy sleeve.... but physical brochures of a piece of gear you are contemplating buying??

I always like to keep physical copies of old brochures if only for posterity... we might want to frame them and decorate a "museum" some time. But hey... I'm willing to sell them for $20 each shipping included to the USA, sent in a nice acid free, acetate sheet protector and cardboard backing like they use for comic books! Bagged and boarded as they say in the comic book industry... LoL!

Now I understand why many people go the shows and get all the brochures they can - they are investing for the future.

I had a large collection of brochures when I was still a student - almost all of them went to recycle bin when I moved. But I still keep a few, not because of the audio, but for the excellent design - the old Primare brochure of the 200 series, some Avantgarde and Sonus Faber ones. But I was very happy when I saw someone at Audiogon asking usd 500 for the thick Cello brochure of the 90's, as I also have one copy!
