What artist do you like that you are (almost) embarrassed to admit?

I never thought Air Supply was a rock group, but my father worked for Arista when the group became popular, and I saw them in concert a couple of times. A couple of the songs had very pretty lyrics.

When I heard a friend played his Nirvana album, I knew Air Supply wasn't a rock band. LOL

Another one dug up in my pile of records - The Stylistics. Grew up with their songs and very memorable.

1967-1975-era Engelbert Humperdinck. Far more a "pure" vocal talent than his style competitor (at the time) Tom Jones and...brought a younger, British Invasion-themed "edge" to crooning Sinatra was just too old to emulate by the late '60s.
