Both include roughly 500 words from scripts penned by Ian Fleming for an American small screen 'weekly celebrity guest' Bond show that died on the vine.

Today the MLB celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Negro Leagues and I'll be re-reading this for oh, the 9th or 10th time....

"Throw all of your self-help books into a dustbin. Want to live better, live longer, know what it's all about? Travel with Buck O'Neil, wondrous ninety-four-year-old baseball philosopher, as he dispenses history, wisdom, and jaw-dropping stories in the last year of his life. Joe Posnanski not only writes it all down with great style, but serves us nuance and context, colors, sounds, and heaping portion of irony. This book is flat-out terrific. Tuesdays with Morrie? Every day with Buck. If Gandhi had played baseball, he would have been Buck O'Neil" --Leigh Montville.

Jazzdoc,
You seem to be a voracious reader. Do you read while you are listing to music?

This fantastic book tells the story of Lincoln's pre-inaugural journey from Springfield to DC. Highly recommended.

The Jews of Vienna in the Age of Franz Joseph

Robert S. Wistrich (Author)
Quite a fascinating read , explains the roots of Vienna school of thought@ modern classical, which gave birth to Schoenberg, Anton von Webern (1883 – 1945) and Alban Berg (1885 – 1935), also Wozzeck.... Highly recommend, for those intellectually curious among us... :)

Obama's "A Promised Land" on Kindle. What a fantastic, thoughtful, and inspirational book. Quite the opposite from the nerve-wracking but still fascinating John Bolton book "The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir"

Barack Obama: A Promised Land
