Hey guys

I am looking to roll the 75 Ohm BNC10MHz clock Cables between my MUTEC REF10 120 SE and my two MC3+USBs.
I have used MUTEC's own relatively inexpensive cables (~$100) , as well as Snake River ~$300) and I prefer the Snake River which are quite good.
Any pointers as to who manufactures this type of cable? I am not adverse to trying higher end brands but have been unable to find any online.

Thanks in Advance.

I use the esoteric Mark iv cable between my clock and CD player. Seemed the right one to purchase…

DCS recommended the affordable Apogee cables from Geistnote on eBay as a good starter. I received them today and will report back when the clock arrives. Shunyata Omega 75 ohm come highly recommended and I may try those.

I run a Shunyata Sigma clock75 cable with good results, at a much cheaper level the Sommercable BNC also produces good results

Two external audiophile clock owner frds of mine in HK are using this BNC cable happily.
Worth considering.
May use it for the time being, before auditioning those expensive ones from hifi brands.

Unfortunately (because of price :( ) nothing could surpass the Transparent XL BNC clock cables in the dCS stack in my system. I say unfortunately because the whole system uses five clock cables ...

With these cables the sound becomes more solid and free from artifacts. I was not expecting that that a digital clock cable could make such a difference. BTW, this cable is not analytical, as for example was a Kimber clock cable in my system.

Have you tried the omegas yet. What are you thinking. B
Yes, they are fantastic. Imaging and bass seemed to improve the most.

Did you put them throughout your clock system or only on your atomic clock. is this the difference noted from geistnote or something else Thx. B

This worth a read:

i used this one: https://audiobacon.net/2018/08/11/the-audiophiles-short-list-the-best-digital-coaxial-cables/5/

I use between my CH T1 10Mhz clock to CH C1 - to very good effect.

I have compared to Goebel BNC, not good enough in my eyes (Goebel, grey and not transparent enough - no contest really ), and also compared to Habst BNC (about equal to snake river, a little bit different - can’t now remember the sound differences) but snake river is 1/3 of price. I have also comapred to a slightly older Black Cat Reference BNC - slightly grey and not transparent enough for me. So the Snake River is my 10Mhz cable of choice For semi-sensible money.

As the review say, able to slightly tweak the sound depending on the direction you use it.

YMMV.

Gore, Huber+Suhner, Teledyne, etc. make phase-stable cables used for RF/mW test and instrumentation. They are likely better than "audiophile" cables and comparable to lower in cost (though not cheap -- but for 10 MHz you don't need a 110 GHz cable, either). These are the cables used for reference clocks and signals in our lab when we need sub-ps stability and such.

They replaced the Geistnote cables on the master clock.
