    Vitus SM-103 Monos Demo

In my experience there is a special synergy between my Vitus 030 and the four Stillpoint Ultra 6s that I use. Definitely better than the previous Ultra 5s. I would not be surprised if the same synergy was present with the SM monos and linestage.

    Vitus SM-103 Monos Demo

:) As I read your post I kept saying yes, yes as I referenced your comments to my own enjoyment of my Vitus SIA 030. So happy for you. Enjoy.

LFD Cables (phono and I.C.) from the UK, cables as components

I have had a number of listening sessions with Mik's systems including a number of high end turntables, arms cartridges and amps. His heavily modified Rockports were constants. LFD cables and dongles. State of the art sound and distinctly different character to the sounds of the different...

    Vitus SM-103 Monos Demo

Thanks for the photos and the updates. I have the Vitus 030 and the Sikora Standard Line and the same tonearm so I have high hopes that you will be happy with the Vitus power amps. I find there is such a captivating flow to the Vitus sound and a near perfect balance to their resolution and...

    Entreq Tellus grounding

Yes I have the Athena racks and agree that they benefit the ground boxes as well as the sources.

    Entreq Tellus grounding

Thanks. I am sure a dedicated ground box, or one with separate compartments, for your power conditioner would be the most cost effective approach. I am not sure that copper or silver makes any real difference. It may well be that copper is used on the Olympus because it is cheaper and that...

    Entreq Tellus grounding

For that application I am using an Olympus Tellus with the mains ground cable.

    Entreq Tellus grounding

Yes I agree dts-99. I also use my best power cable, an Entreq Atlantis Infinity, to connect my power block to the mains for the same reason.

Vitus SIA-025 Mk2 vs Audio Analogue Absolute

I have commended the Vitus025SIA in other threads, but missed this one. I had one for several years before upgrading last year to the 030 which indicates how much I like the Vitus amps. The 025 gave me tremendous pleasure and satisfaction. The build quality and aesthetics are both very good and...

QSA : My take on their expensive products

That is good news so thank you for your efforts to date and I will look forward to reading the outcome of the planned further work.

QSA : My take on their expensive products

That is interesting Ian. I have the mauve and yellow and plan to try the red at a future stage. It rather seems that fuses take us back to the perennial choice and debate over warmth and transparency where at the end of the day it becomes a matter of personal choice. I had a very similar...

    Entreq Tellus grounding

Thank you Lloyd. The new turntable rather dominated my playings following the rack reorganisation and the additional shelves and the new Tellus Infinity 2.. More recently though I have been playing some of my CDs now that everything has settled in. The Tellus Infinity 2 is earthing my three box...
