A Bucket List Wish --- A Vacation Much Overdue

Lovely pics of the blossom Steve and thanks for posting. It reminded me of our trip a few years back at approximately the same time with blossom everywhere. Folk in their numbers spread out under the trees in the local park enjoying a picnic and cherry blossom goodies to buy at every turn...

Introducing Olympus & Olympus I/O - A new perspective on modern music playback

I can vouch for the Khozmo, with Z Foils, and only 1 input, to work perfectly between my Extreme and SETs. Probably as simple as it gets. It uses relays rather than a pot to adjust volume. 64 x 1dB steps enable fine control.

    AXPONA 2024 Ron Reporting

Very informative Ron. Just to clarify you're discussing XDMI and not XDMS software. I know, it’s confusing for me too. Cheers Blue58

    Neodio B2 resonance device

And my reaction was…I preferred them out of the system, however the other 3 people at the listening session preferred them in. If I had to describe what they appear to do is they seem to add a sympathetic resonance, kind of like adding a 2nd harmonic to the presentation. I may be more familiar...

    New Dedicated Listening Room

There’s also an acoustic variant available that may be better though more expensive. I’m sure there are US suppliers. https://www.acupanel.co.uk/products/acoustic-slat-wood-panels

    What's Spinning Tonight?

Bought all Stina’s CDs when they were released and still think she’s better than most of the current singers today. And I’ll bounce one back at you that is beyond time. Also a huge Mathilde Santing fan, saw her on the Breast and Brow tour.

    Rhapsody.Audio Listening Rooms

Hi Bob, give this a spin, it’s destined to become a favourite for demos and could replace a few of those old warhorses.

They are indeed vented. Some users report removing the cover entirely benefits the top end but to do that you need to relocate the crossover outside. A little off topic here but the new Duo GT has a port on the bottom of the speaker. A first for AG as far as I’m aware.

Is that a good thing?

Visit to Todd (sbnx) Avantgarde Trio G3 in Parker, Texas

Always have been toed in since purchase but tweeters aimed at the shoulders. Aiming at the ears does increase the brightness of the old drivers. I credit Jim Smith with the toe-in ‘innovation’.

11 feet is incredibly close but if it works then fine. I’m at 14 ft with my Duos and that seems close, too close?, for me.

    Taiko Audio Extreme Switch

These 3 , Titanium Aurios, Sorbothane and Clearlight cones and it‘s on a Rogoz BBB Audio rack (laminated wood). And I’m not about to try anything that costs more than a 5* holiday

    Taiko Audio Extreme Switch

Well I had the chance to try the 3 different sets of footers underneath the switch today and the result wasn’t what I expected based on Christian’s trials and results. I could not detect any difference between them ! By comparison it’s easy to hear the difference between Default and...

    Taiko Audio Extreme Switch

My switch has been in for about 4 weeks powered by Paul Hynes SR4 and a Gotham DC cable. At the same time I obviously installed the new Network card and ran the script successfully. I’ve been chatting to Ted recently because I didn’t hear a ”profound” or “magnitude of step change” and wondered...
