What SPECIFICALLY is better or different about the Wadax Design? How do these design choices manifest in better sound?

In Munich, none of WADAX rooms sounded good. The room with the WB was agreeable on the senses, but the rest were uninspiring, and some, like Göbel and kharma, plain awful.

Anyone Understand Design Approach of Stenheim? What are they doing differently from Magico, YG, Wilson, etc., to have High Sensitivity?

Most Europeans who take this hobby seriously and therefore visit the Munich show have heard these, several times, with big power. jespera is generous.

PHL PA drivers from France (I believe own by devialet). Corrugated paper. Not superior to anything, but cardboard. Some people like that kind of sound.

    CH Precision 10 series

I know, not the M10, but my M1 is pretty wimpy in a bi-amp mode. Why waste all that goodness driving a sub

Magico M9 vs. Magico Ultimate 3 Horn- Box vs. Horn! Which will be better? In which ways?

Maybe, but I don’t think I have seen any independent measurements of any speaker manufacturers so sharply contradicts its marketing slogans.

I think he just did. Perhaps it is Wilson who should provide any technical proof to their imaginary claims.

"Fast" and "slow" subwoofers: can we put them to bed?

I am sure there are differences, but I don’t see how you can interpret anything but frq. and phase on a subwoofer impulse response. For quality (slow, fast, etc.), you probably need to look at distortions, which is tricker to assess (probably need anechoic chamber)

"Fast" and "slow" subwoofers: can we put them to bed?

This may be more of a function of how low/sharp the bass is crossed. One seems to be 70hz with sharp cutoff, the other 100 with more gentle slope (Higher frq, sharper impulse ).

Nothing confusing here, you see the on/off button…? Although they typically do, active XO may or may not have voltage gain. Like I said, “I stand corrected” would suffice ;)

    CH Precision 10 series

Yes, but when you bridg them, you lose their magical mids/highs (I have the M1)

    Magico M9

We spent some time trying to clarify that for you. It would have been nice of you to just say, “I stand corrected,” and not blame others for "the confusion"... now we can move on

    Magico M9

Curious, which other “LS manufacturer" caused the confusion?
