I had noticed that with Antipodes making one logical volume for the music files, it means any player can access my full music library either on the Antipodes or a NAS (I currently have 2 x 2Tb SSD's and looking at adding a 4Tb SSD to make up the onboard music for the K40).
I heard Roon Server...
I've also got a K40 coming as a replacement for my CX which will feed my Devialet 1000Pro. Haven't read ANY reviews on the K40 (only K30 and K50) so wondering what it will sound like compared to the CX.
When you say playing music continuously did you just have the K30 playing music, but didn't...
I had to send my CX back to Antipodes last week as it hit a big problem after the R28 software upgrade (was this the issue or just a confidence). The CX would show on my network for 5 to 10 minutes then would fall off (still turned on, but lost to the network), and was also heating up extremely...

Thanks for the detailed reply :)
Regarding the Melco S100 switch, that's a bit too pricey for my budget, but I do have ab UpTone Audio EtherREGEN on the way that I can plug in before the CX (or K40) to help improve Ethernet isolation.
Your findings of using the K50 via Ethernet output...
Anyone heard anything about how the K40 is?
I've got a CX and looking at upgrading to a K40. I've a Devialet 1000Pro and connect my CX via ethernet hence why I'm looking at a K40, but can't find ANY reviews (either professional or consumer) on the K40.

What's the square binding posts you have on your ground boxes (they're not K2 or Everests)?
By the way, that's some collection of Entreq you have there :D

Not expecting to get the Poseidon & Apollo cables for at least another 3-4 weeks (by the time the package leaves Sweden, get's to the Aus distributor in Sydney, then has to be repacked and sent to Perth, then will be ages before I see them).
As I'm upgrading from Tellus 2 & Silver cables...

Ok mate, going with the Infinity Apollo upgrade for all 4 cables (2 x Spade-to-Spade for speaker -ve terminals, and 2 x Spade-to-RCA for amp grounding). Australian distributor doing me a good deal on upgrading all 4 cables, so thought why not it's only money :)
Cheers
John
PS Anyone...

So you think best to put money from Everest and use for Infinity cables. Only reason to ask as using 2 cables on the one connection would need double cost to upgrade cables, but single Everest could help boost SQ (fyi can get Everest for £200 and K2 for £150 via Aus distributor).
Cheers...

Really appreciate your reply.
As our Australian distributor only carry's limited stock he's still only got Eartha cables for sale (he's waiting until he goes through his old stock before getting the new Infinity cables into stock). Will probably be a big cost difference as at present...
Upgrade from Eartha to Infinity Cables - Costing
Sorry if this is easily found on the thread, but I've been searching through multiple posts and can't find any info on the costing for upgrading of existing Eartha Cables to Infinity. Appreciate the costing will be variable for different...
Unfortunately due to the length of the hook when I lift it up to put over the binding post the lower section of the cable is thicker and can't go between the binding post. Even if I put the hook in sideways, when I twist it there still isn't enough space between the binding posts to twist it...

Mate, good on you getting Paolo's Poseidon; the best dressed guy get's the girl ;)
Can't go into it just now, but P-O gave me a call from Sweden today and will sort something out with my Tellus 2 & Infinity Cables (now that's customer service for you :D). He did admit the sizing of...

Well done on getting the Poseidon. I had actually corresponded with Paolo about it, and he was doing it for a great price, but the shipping costs to Australia are a fortune (35kg, yikes) which didn't help myself with overall cost (Paolo was great to deal with, even just as an...
