This past weekend makes it my 4th year going to this event. Every year, it gets bigger and better. This year was no different.
The really cool thing about this year's show is that I got to meet and talk to OCD Mikey! He met my three brothers as well. We chatted for a few minutes, then went on...
I don't know how you can't remember our discussions (arguments, disagreements) in this or other forums. 99% of the time, it's the same exact subject matter as this one. And no, you "picking on me" never crossed my mind. I think you simply refuse to listen to other, even correct options (not...
You won't get banned, and I won't argue, because I agree.
That being said, "Little Jay" is far more tolerable, personable and polite than "Big Jay".
Since I have met both, it becomes a bit more personal, and character and personality goes a long way, and I hold more value in that than whatever...
No matter what forum the two of us are in, you argue the same exact points that I always talk about, and every time, you're way off the mark. It's almost like you never really read anything I post.
Again, it does NOT matter if you have panel speakers that only go down to 40 Hz, stand mount...
Again, wrong. It is not "clearly" my opinion. It is a fact.
Very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very rarely will you ever get a flat, even bass response at your listening seat IF and WHEN your loudspeakers are properly positioned in the room for optimal sound stage and imaging.
99%...
As I've told you time and time again, it does NOT matter what loudspeaker you use, it is absolutely necessary to use two or more subwoofers in the room with any and all loudspeakers. That is the ONLY way you'll get a flat bass response in the room at the listening seat.
Hence my last sentence.
I'm quite aware that some may not be able to do all of those to get good sound. Then DSP would be a handy thing to use, but only then.
Don't put words in my mouth. I didn't insult you. Unless of course me saying that you're a fan of Gene and Amir you take as an insult, then that's on you. You shouldn't be agreeing with them then. LOL
As for the rest of that nonsense in your reply... YAWN...
Not that you care, but...
Out of those listed, the only ones worth a hill of beans is...
Darko Audio
Jay Iyagi
Steve Huff
Audiophile Junkie
In that order.
And the one no one has mentioned is Steve Guttenberg, which I place above all the others. He's every bit about the music as he is the gear.
Again, proper loudspeaker and listening positions first, two or more subwoofers properly located within the room, then room treatments.
With all of the above being done, you should have no need for any DSP.
