Christiaan Punter

For as long as I can remember, audio has held a special fascination for me. While functioning in many roles in the Broadcast Industry for over 2 decades, my interest in audio has never wavered. Although the engineering behind it all has never ceased to interest me, what I soon learned was that "professional" audio editing and post-production were not where my true motivation lies. Music reproduction at home was what really captured my fancy and this has motivated me to dive deeply into the world of High-End audio.

I started my own website Hifi-Advice.com where I published information, insights, and Audio Equipment Reviews. This widened my own perspectives while providing freely available and unbiased coverage and insights for other audiophiles.

December 1st, 2021 marks the start of my employment with Taiko Audio. In this capacity, I will take care of the company's website content and will assist with the general online presence. Naturally, and as always, my opinions will be my own, but to avoid conflict of interest, I will not be reviewing any Taiko Audio gear for my website nor for any of the commercial magazines such as HVT or Music Emotion.
