    Shunyata Omega Internet and Gemini

I love that you started with the Omega Ethernet. It's really on another level. I use it mainly for balanced AES signals in a Meridian DSP system (RJ45 CAT based). But also for "Ethernet" duty off the Uptone switch to streamer which is mated via fiber to the master switch. Gemini is an...

    Shunyata Sigma HC power cable

Sigma XC is alot more powerful sounding, crisp and delicate. But the price difference is large. I would say the Sigma HC is an excellent value for money.

    Omega speaker cables

DF-SS is not for heavy cables. I would wager Moebius is better suited with 3+2 straps. I have 18 DF-SS in my setup and those straps are getting longer and less nimble. One snapped right off.

Super3 - a supercapacitor LPS, by Farad Power Supplies

I use Shunyata Alpha V2 power cable with a Super3/Furutech/OrangeFuse/DC 2 Silver cable to a modded Meridian 210 streamer with GX inlet. I compared a bit with the Furutech DPS 4.1 cables but I settled on the DPS for the Meridian 861V8 digital preamp and the Shunyata Alpha v2 PC on digital sources.

SFP+DAC vs. Fiber cable on PRO USB module

There isn't one, DAC cables are twin-axial Cu based for shorter distances. You are breaking the isolation properties that fiber gives you.

New Delta D6 versus Used Denali 6000S V1

XC if you can swing it. Alpha is excellent, sigma even more so.

New Delta D6 versus Used Denali 6000S V1

Put the amp on one of the bottom HC outlets. Experiment if you’d like any source better there because of extra large PSU.

    Hydra Typhon T2

I’m using 1x Typhon T2 for Left, Center and Right active speakers. The T2 reference umbilical is custom ordered with a C15 termination for the Meridian DSP7200HCSE active center speaker.

    Hydra Typhon T2

Thanks IanB for your impressions. Having recently put my Triton V3 on duty for my workstation/headphone-DAC Hifiman Jade-II electrostats. I can testament that QR/BB and NIC absolutely impact serious headphone systems. Completing my new in-room layout have been slow but will start to burn in the...

    Hydra Typhon T2

7ryder, you’re now at the 2-week mark. How is the T2 settling in so far? Since you are using it with a 6000S/2 how do you find using its local outputs vs using the 6000S/2 outputs? Any stark differences there?

    Hydra Typhon T2

I received mine but will need the weekend to set up the system again. I shifted the complete PD layout around and upgraded to two HRS platforms.

What ethernet cables are members using?

I use optical OM4 cable for ethernet duty where I can. Been using Furutech, AQ Vodka/Diamond for finer duties where RJ45 is the only option. I've used Shunyata Omega ethernet extensively for AES/EBU duties riding ethernet cable in my Meridian based system. Waiting for my first Omega Ethernet to...

    Hydra Typhon T2

Oh, then you will have a double upgrade. Thanks for expressing what is going on in the system. 1 day is very little for a powerconditioner so I expect things will develop from here.

    Hydra Typhon T2

Is the T2 really that good? I thought people would evaluate long and hard first against the QR?
