I can comment on the Symphony 13s . See my avatar photo! This speaker is all anyone could need. I have Alsyvox,Bayzs, YG, and more. They are sympatico with my Jadis, CH, Msb amps and are amazingly musical. It becomes complete with the Kan Lab sound super tweeter and JL audio subs. Gotta go...

MSB Reference as an input to a Phono Pre

Currently using an Allnic tube phono stage with Lyra Etna SL and MSL SUT To the mm section- directly to the MSB reference analog input to MSB M 202 and then Alsyvox Botticelli. Absolutely transparent , musical and holographic. Vince Galbo once said to me “wait till you hear your turntable...

Horns with SS amp instead of Tube (se)!?

Well this thread has prompted some experimentation on my part. I am driving my hORNS Symphony 13 with a full blown CH precision chain L1,P1,C1.2, X1 , M1.2 - SUBLIME. all the virtues of horn dynamics, tone, transparency, dynamics, emotion, tone, etc. Who knew? Enjoy! The M1.2 is set at zero...

    YG Acoustics

I guess in theory... I can't hear any difference with or without. I think those Swiss engineers are pretty smart and have made sure it doesn't affect performance.

    YG Acoustics

CH gear can be turned on manually via front switch, or more elegantly using the CH App. on your android device. All Ch gear can be hardwired via CAT 5 to a router and allows complete control. For the amp it can alter stereo/mono/bridge, display, temperature, variable globalfeedback. It's the...

Triangle Speakers from France. Emotional Experience (vs. Cerebral Accuracy). Any fans?

Triangle zays owner since 1999. Keepers as they are fast and musical with 10-60 watts tube amplification. I have 4 systems and could live with these forever - that good

Another YG owner here…my Hailey powered with MSB M 204 and MSB Reference is a combination that leaves me not wanting. Having said that, I am completely blown away by the sound im getting with a full CH Precision chain. These fantastic speakers are a precise laboratory grade instrument that are...

    CD Transport vs Music Server

I concur that CD playback on the Jays mk3 upsampled sounded better than the same material streamed both through a MSB Reference DAC. Caveat, I’m using a 5k stealth digital AES/EBU CABLE …LOL

    Resolution vs. Musicality

Interesting that Stereophile ranked the Chord DAVE higher than the Jadis JS1. I own both and in fact use the Chord Blu as an upscaler, giving the DAVE a performance boost. In my system and with my ears, the Jadis communicates more emotion and more of the musical message. Maybe it system...
