    Is this an issue? Never ran across this before? From Marantz SA-10 CD/SACD player manual. Balanced phase can be changed on remote. NO need to rewire balanced pin out. How do other manufactures handle this?

    Another “what’s best” thread that that leads to no agreement, because cable choice is dependent on power amplifier and personal taste. I have listened to Magnepan IIIa and 3.6R speakers with ribbon tweeters every night since 1987 and never found the sound bright ever! I do not buy bright...

    Boulder 866 Driving Magnepan 20.7's

    The 20.7 goes down to 25 Hz in the bass. I see no need for a subwoofer at all. Most all subwoofers are box speakers and mate poorly with Magnepan‘s excellent natural bass sound quality IMO. Perhaps you like dry punchy bass.

    Yikes - Audio Research has NO tubes for sale.

    Time to reconsider warm tube-like solid state gear. I always thought newer ARC gear was more SS sounding than their older gear from late 80’s and early 90’s. The older gear runs on still available NOS tubes.

    The importance of Owning Media

    Anyone that bought old iTunes low rez albums, or listens to low rez playback on Spotify, or YouTube, is not an audiophile. Every album on iTunes today is CD or higher quality . There are luddites even on WBF.
