Thanks Steve. The real copper does look to have more depth and interest to it. I'm either going to go with this option or a painted version to match the silver Taiko Extreme finish. Lukasz believes he can get a very good colour match.
My PhoenixNET sounded really good from the git go. Having a high level of distortion sounds very odd...maybe installed not quite right or a faulty unit?
I am hoping that someone has a good photo of an existing silver unit too. It's surprising to me that this isn't a very popular option. "Taiko" silver seems pretty generic like Pilium, etc. I don't want to be the pioneer and it not visually work. I currently have the bling gold Pacific.
No, Adam didn't have the TotalDAC reclocker or server (which includes the reclocker) on hand for us to compare against the Berkerley or Soulution. It's impossible to make an accurate call, but in my system I think the overall digital source performance exceeds what I recall from Adam's Windows...
