What ethernet cables are members using?

In my system, Naim ND 555, Naim PS 555 DR (two powersupplies), Melco S10 and Schnerzinger Lan Protector, I use the Shunyata Omega ethernet cables. For me one of the best I know and can afford.

    New Spectral SDR 4000SV S2

That the CH makes it possible to play SACD's. The sound is quite the same. I never had the chance to hear both players at the same time in the same set. The Spectral I know best because I own one. The CH Precision was at an event at my dealer.

    New Spectral SDR 4000SV S2

The D1.5 is in the EU 42.250 euro; the Spectral was first priced 49.900 euro. The CH Precision will play SACD and CD. For me playing CD's the Spectral is the best. Even when playing CD's the Spectral SDR 4000 SV is superb.

    New Spectral SDR 4000SV S2

For me the most important is the sound. Is the sound the CD player or streamer "produce" as close as possible as the live music I've heard. The Spectral is very realistic, close. I need to invite a pianist or Orchestra at home for the most realist natural sound. That is impossible as we all...

    New Spectral SDR 4000SV S2

The price in the US does not include VAT, customs duty and the money you have to pay for the less VAT. In New York 8% VAT e.g. and in The Netherlands 21%. And more important the Factory set voltage in the US is 120 VAC @ 47.5 Hz to 440 Hz and 220, 240 as in Europe. Last but not least the price...

    New Spectral SDR 4000SV S2

The price has been changed. TBA:( Thank god there are other brands like CH Precision. The CH Precision d1.5 is even better than my 4000SV.

What's the best nas server? Innuos or Melco???

The best-sounding configuration for me is the Melco S10, + Naim ND 555 and two Naims 555 PS DR and the Shunyata Omega ethernetcable. Powercable Shunyata Omega. Very expensive but worth every penny.

    Your All Time Favorite Preamplifiers?

Thrax Libra is for me one of the best sounding preamps today. Another great one is the Alieno preamp. Both expensive but worth every $.

What ethernet cables are members using?

Greetings Re-tread, Thanks for your nice post. Yes I have a Shunyata Omega Ethernet cable. I use this cable between my Naim streamer and the Melco S100 switch. Before that I had a Shunyata Sigma Ethernet cable and a Audioquest Vodka. For me the Omega is the most realistic cable without...

    Speaker Recommendation up to 70K

Listen to the Zellaton Stage or Zellaton Reference mk 2. The illusion of live performers at home is there. For my ears and money the best there is.

What are you currently listening to (Classical)?

Nice cd. Do you know if this cd is still for sale?

    CTH-8550 mark2 and Zellaton

Did you hear both amps with the Stage? An integrated amp can be grat like e.g. the Humboldt. A pre amp and poweramp is often much better as Thrax or Spectral proof. The Humboldt s great for less money but for my ears, music the Thrax is much better. Maybe my sources and cables makes the...
