Anyone try the NEW 300B Tubes from Western Electric? Worth the Money? Better or Different than older Ones?
I have a pair in my Deja vu push pull amps with vintage Chicago output transformers. They ae far better than any others I've heard and still breaking in.- hbsry2001

New Stepped Attenuators from SW1X
Ive not heard these but I replaced the ones in my hand built all P2P wired, no transistor crap, dual mono pre amp with the top of the line 48 step Khozmo a and the diffenernce was huge.- hbsry2001

If you werent so far away Id say come hear mine. Surely there must be an Ortofon Anna D in your area. Carful though, its like Acapulco Gold, or fine Cognac, once youve tasted it nothing else will quite satisfy again. LOL.- hbsry2001

I had the boron before the diamond. IMHO you lose nothing and gain a lot. .Its the most 'believable' cartridge Ive heard. Beside it everything else Ive heard seems colored and even slow. I wish I could afford an Ortofon Anna D to compare it to. And a Koetsu Rose Platinum sig. and an Audio...- hbsry2001

Diamond cantilever is the way to go. I have a Transfiguration Proteus D and the transparency, openness and air are amazing. Hoping to acquire a Rosewood Platinum Signature before too long.- hbsry2001

Orotofon MC Anna Diamond cartridge
Ive not heard the Ortofon but I have a Transfiguration Proteus Diamond and it is far and way the most transparent, resolving cart Ive heard. Id go with the diamond cantilever every time.- hbsry2001
