I got into home theater when the first Matrix movie came out on DVD, a new format at the time. I enjoy superhero, sci-fi, and horror flicks. I've got a nice collection of movies (> 1000) in UHD, 3D, and standard Blu-ray formats. My latest piece of gear is a custom dual 18" Funk Audio subwoofer. Very nice!

My HT's not pretty, but the picture & sound quality are quite nice once the lights are off. It's not up to the standards of many of the home theaters on this board to be sure, but it works well enough for me... :)
