    Tesla Model Y performance

95% of our charging is done at home, and using our solar whenever possible. We have 3 phase power so charging is relatively quick - certainly way cheaper than paying for fuel!

    Tesla Model Y performance

Yes there are several that are better, in some areas. A car isn't just about 0-100 times and charging / range stats which is where the Tesla excels - and yes, I love these aspects probably like you do. Some will value these things more than other areas, and others won't. It's all personal and...

    Tesla Model Y performance

The phantom braking is a separate issue to what you are referring to - here is a link on the Tesla site for those that want to read more https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/major-phantom-braking-issues.287676/ As I said, there are plenty more EV options for buyers now - Tesla do have the...

    Tesla Model Y performance

Sorry not a Model Y owner but have been a Model 3 Performance owner for 4 years now. Range has reduced around 10% over the 4yr period which is acceptable. My thoughts on Tesla - Pros - most reliable charging infrastructure IMHO - are producing at large scale now and therefore sharp on price -...

Ithaka - DAC by Aries Cerat

I heard the Ithaca in my system for a few days and agree with your thoughts. It is an incredible DAC - it is also incredibly well designed but it’s a shame it‘s so heavy and has such a large footprint!

Aries Cerat Ianus Essentia Owners thread

Agree on the dual 6J11P’s - I’m running mine between 20-25 bias on the Essentia’s which seems to work well. Which brand of E280F have you enjoyed the most? Haven’t tried this combo yet…

Aries Cerat Ianus Essentia Owners thread

I haven’t tried with the Impera yet as I’m still waiting on the cables to arrive, but when I tried with the Incito S pre amp, the difference was fairly obvious to my ears. I’ll share more when I get the cables

Ah, yeah sorry too early to start testing tubes on the Impera. I’ve only had it a week so it’s still running in and my ears adjusting to the magic!

In the Essentia amps I’ve tried the E282’s and Russian 6J11P-E’s - to my ears the Russians have more punch and transparency

Congrats Wil, I bet the Ageto Is absolutely fantastic! I just received my Impera Ref and I’m also really happy with the sound, although just trying to work out which tube combo I like the best with my Essentia amps. Are you using the AC-link connection?

    Taiko Audio Extreme Router

So Christiaan, if you temporarily connect the Extreme via LAN to your home network, presumably the IP address of the Extreme will change as the home network will assign it a new IP address? When you then connect back to Taiko Wi-Fi it will once again assign a different IP address. Port...

    Taiko Audio Extreme Router

I've just received my new router - currently I have my PC connected to the home network via ethernet which will not be able to receive a wi-fi signal. All my Extreme updates are done via my PC in my office. Before I connect everything, can someone confirm the best way to connect my PC to the...
