    Re-imagining "Class A" Amplification

Hello, sorry for my late reply, 18V DC is absolutely a no no and It will potentially fry the control system. 1.The Rei will draw 100ma from the source, it will self regulate the current. 2.We did quite a bit of work to isolate the trigger source, the power / ground is completely separate from...

WestminsterLab Rei - Class A Amplifier

Technically speaking, we can put two internals of the Rei into a bigger box ( like many other manufacturers do ). But we think it will be so much more fun and easier for customer to upgrade if they can just buy an extra pair for bridging, and it offers the flexibility in the future for them to...

    Re-imagining "Class A" Amplification

Very nice setup and thank you for sharing. The input of the trigger has a Male socket ( not plug ) and the output of the trigger has a Female socket, so to daisy chain the trigger you will connect a male to female ( plug ) from the master to the salve. The Male plug of the connector can be quite...

    Re-imagining "Class A" Amplification

Thank you Gary for the report. The Monologue is a very focused unit, it has one function only and it is designed to bring the best out of our Phono card and bring what we think is the true sound from the grooves of your vinyl. The Monologue enclosure provides 7 individual power regulators and a...

    Re-imagining "Class A" Amplification

Hello Yossi, welcome to this thread =]. We have a few reference speakers and the Vivid Audio G1 is "the reference" for us. We have the G1S2, but not the spirit ( the spirit has larger voice coil and magnets for the bass for better control ). We are running two Quest and 4 Rei in bridged mode...

Westminster Lab Monologue phonoamp - a new 2023 product

We did distill our idea and our approach to music playback to the Monologue and the sets of individual cards. The approach to the DS eq of ours is very different from the reference design from DS, from the power supply for the LED, the gain stage is all different. And of course we put our secret...

Thank you for visiting! It was a really enjoyable chat and music session. We are very new to the vinyl world and we have been working really hard for years to find our own approach to vinyl reproduction. Technical side, the DS Audio card has a custom signal circuit and also power supply compare...

    Re-imagining "Class A" Amplification

Technically yes you can. It may cause a ground loop depending on the grounding architecture of the subwoofer and system though. But there is no harm to give it a try. Are you located in Japan? :)
