    I've also noticed, by some of the replies here, that even though there may be gains to be made by changing to a used cable, it may be worth it to up the anti and get into the NR technology in a newer cable. Any opinions about this and the diminishing returns formula?

    Sorry for the late reply. I was experimenting with running a REL sub through speaker connections and did not seem to have very good results. It almost seemed anemic for a subwoofer. It wasn't very musical. Not sure if this is ARC or REL issue. I moved REL sub back to home theater room.
