Kuzma Stabi R compared to a Garrard 301/401??

Don, I have only read what is there on the website and was always curious to know why Thom is making such a statement. I am currently using the Stabi S with 4P 9. If I were to upgrade, I would go for the Stabi R. My correspondence with him has only been on the Stabi S. Since you are...

Kuzma Stabi R compared to a Garrard 301/401??

From Thom’s website who is quite revered on this thread: Wood plinth. We absolutely advise against this option and we can explain why we consider this to upset the performance of an otherwise solid design. https://galibierdesign.com/products/turntables/tt-kuzma-stabi-r/ You may want to...

Upgrading phono preamp: RCM Theriaa Mk 2 or Thrax Orpheus Mk 2

Thanks Abe for the offer. I am going with Doshi Phono Preamp which is a natural choice for the Doshi Preamp that I already have. Enjoy your new purchase.

How to clean up ceramic drivers?

I have the Gauder Akustik Vescova Mk 2 speakers which also have the Accuton ceramic drivers. I have a duster with multiple thin soft fibres which can be used to clean without risk of damage to the drivers.

Upgrading phono preamp: RCM Theriaa Mk 2 or Thrax Orpheus Mk 2

Pondered over it and I would tend to go with the same brand as my preamp: Doshi . Happy with the preamp and seems logical to go with the phono preamp of the same brand as it seems to be well acclaimed. Will leave out the more exotic choices. Any views of the Doshi Phono Stage welcome. Thanks.

Upgrading phono preamp: RCM Theriaa Mk 2 or Thrax Orpheus Mk 2

I am currently using the RCM Sensor 2 as a phono preamp. Existing system is Stabi S with Kuzma 4 point 9 and Doshi V 3.0 preamp and cartridge is Phasemation PP-300. I wish to upgrade and need your help in choosing between the two phono preamps: Thrax Orpheus and RCM Theriaa. Both will be...

Pre-Amp reccommendation for Air Tight ATM-300R power amp

Just wish to add here that I was recommended to go for the Incito S over the Impera on account of lower maintenance issues.

Pre-Amp reccommendation for Air Tight ATM-300R power amp

I am using a Doshi preamp. I got in touch with Nick Doshi and sent him the specifications of my power amp. It was important for me to see if the Doshi preamp matched well with my power amp. For me it was a blind buy. The choice was between preamp of same brand as my power amp and options like...

Kuzma Stabi S vs Technics 1200GR

I am using the Stabi S and have just upgraded to the 4Point 9. Earlier, I had the Stogi S tonearm. If possible, go for the Stabi S plus Kuzma 4point 9; will save money by way of future upgrades. All the best.

Anyone try Isoacoustics Gaia’s and Townshend Seismic Podiums?

Got this response from a dealer to a similar query I asked and sharing for the benefit of all here: "For ultimate performance the Podiums are better than the bars, although both products are highly effective. The Podiums spread the weight more evenly than the bars and are much easier to set up...
