    Introducing Center Stage 2M

I've CS2 0.8 on my dCS Bartok and Krell K-300i integrated for long. My friend borrow me his 1.5 for a month, i swap it to my Krell, and the result is so dramatic ! Maybe the Krell 52lb weight benefit from the bigger foot. Anyway i can't afford the CS2 1.5, so thinking about CS2M 1.0 when it is...

    Melco S100 audiophile switch

Thx, i have tried some of them in the past, will try the rest in future. Btw, I'm using JS-2 for s100, do u think replace it with Farad Super3 will be beneficial? Or shall I consider the clock mod first?

    Melco S100 audiophile switch

Just to share i find conect my Roon core NAS to 100Mb port in addition to my dCS Bartok sounds way better than the 1Gb port, and also rock stable without any drop. Adding another switch upstream make the background more black, and I'm surprised by connecting upper stream by copper ethernet cable...

    Melco S100 audiophile switch

A friend just remind me that some fiber device support 100/1000 with negotiation, so if your other end is Extreme, you can check the interface card driver option for similar settings, can try to fix some settings to avoid wrong negotiation.

    Melco S100 audiophile switch

Before my Melco arrive, I've a Tp-link TL-SG3210 switch with SFP socket, and a Tp-link FMC MC220L working well with a set of SFP module and fiber. When Melco arrive, i unplugged the module from the FMC and insert to Melco, but it doesn't work, with LED light stay off. So i try a few other...

    Melco S100 audiophile switch

Problem fixed, and i follow hols by adding another switch up stream, connect through fiber and FMC, and plug everything to it; leaving only my dCS Bartok connect to Melco, i concur with him that this gives the best result so far. Tonal / details / silence / dynamic are better, sound closer to...

SOtM sNH-10G Network Switches x2 : The NEW KING of USB/Network Gadget Setup

Hi CKKeung, I read you guys' report repeatedly, very enjoyable and enlights me in my ways. I'm using melco s100 switch between my Synology Roon core / music storage and dCS Bartok, s100 to Bartok use Shunyata Sigma lan cable, but s100 to NAS use a cat8 professional cable only. I find the SQ is...

    Melco S100 audiophile switch

Hi all, I just got my Melco s100, and find the sfp module on hand does not work with it, no signal light and traffic does not get through. Can anyone share the module model you tested with it? Thanks.

    Pass Labs XP-22

Once i drive my integrated amp's power amp section from Bartok using 2V output setting, and compared with 0.2V output setting driver the preamp section. The 2V output to power amp win, and I thought it was bypassing the preamp make the difference. Later on, I try 2V output driving the preamp...

    Melco S100 audiophile switch

Thx CKK and looking forward for the report. As a budget user like many others, I'm especially interested in the comparison of the 3 lowest cost config, ER / s100 / sotm, and how they justify for each increment of price.

SOtM sNH-10G Network Switches x2 : The NEW KING of USB/Network Gadget Setup

Thanks for the explanation, I'm using a DIY fanless NUC style PC running ROCK, with a SSD storing music in an ext. USB box, I think I will settle on this meanwhile. I've a chance audit the sotm switch once in a demo before. Using 1 to replace a cheap switch make a different, but I can't be sure...

SOtM sNH-10G Network Switches x2 : The NEW KING of USB/Network Gadget Setup

Thx CKK for the excellent report, I read through it multiple times and keeping learning from it. There is 1 point I don't understand, for the "desktops which could be used as Roon core", is there SQ reason not putting the music file on it, but on a NAS separately ? Especially it is a DIY...
