Gary,
In all due respect, I would bet that if you ask Paul McGowan or his associate for schematics as I have done, they would be kind enough to send them for the older Genesis. If they are "lost" then how is it that some schematics are available from PS Audio? I get it that there may not be any...
Here are some schematics from Paul McGowan at PS audio. Theses are for the older servo bass amps and should help us Genesis owners keep them going. If I get more information I will share it with everyone. Happy New Year.

You can try the hang loose convolver. The number of taps you use effect the lip sync delay for A/V usage. Lower them a bit and see how that works once you find a filter you like. Mitch Barnett developed the convolver with auto rate switching. For FIR filters you need to use RePhase and REW...
Here is a link to the Carver web site. Ed (seas) is who refurbishes the ribbons. You will have to join in order to contact Ed.

Guys and Gals,
Good news for any of the older Genesis speakers in need of the 48" and larger ribbons rebuilt. During my room construction I have been looking for ribbon rebuilding alternatives for the G2. A gentleman suggested I look around at the Carver line that used the 48" driver in the...
Are you saying that objectivists don't use their ears as well as the measurements when critiquing playback? Serious listener?? How would you know this if you are not present during the setup of a system? Mike, this approach may be why people disappear at WBF. There is no breathing room for...
Does the science/scientist of those mentioned above apply to low-fi, mid-fi, and hi-fi ? Yes/No.. I don't understand the "high end reproduction, something that is ignored in the book". Elaborate on what's missing. It sounds like snob appeal in the forum. And the usual reply is that...
I visit occasionally here only for the Genesis forum and that's about it. The staunch subjectivist mindset is as impenetrable as the objectivist. I would hope that the blending of the 2 can be the best of both worlds. I don't see it here at all ( common ground). One can consider room treatments...
Looks like you are welcomed aboard, all the whille they are pushing you out the door. They crow about how DSP ruins the sound reproduction, but never consider speakers designed with DSP integrated into them. Kii come to mind as well as many others. I supppse they would not fit any needs in this...
Sorry,
But your ear cannot discern the phase matching, decay time, etc. as well as verify if ANY improvements have been achieved without some form of documentation from start to finish. Your basic SPL and sine sweep (at what frequency?) appear extremely crude. Maybe your experience with Dirac...
