Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

HI Emile, I have the Motorola cable modem which doesn't have switch/router/wifi function. Please advise which configuration is preferred.

This is very cool indeed. However, need to pay extra attention not to damage/knock off surrounding components (especially the tall electrolytic cap) during installation as it's a heavy heatsink. Don't forget about ESD.

    How about the copper version?

Is there a SQ difference between: 1. SFP RJ45 Copper (DAC) cable with predetermined length up to 7m vs. 2. SFP with RJ45 Copper port + CAT5/6/7 cable (select different CAT5/6/7 cables to achieve desired length)

Are there any SSD alternatives besides Sabrent Q (blue label) and Intel 660P NVMe for SQ equivalent or better?

Same here. Received a couple of letters from CA Dept of Tax and Fee Administration. Unfortunately, I ended paying for it as they were going to send me a notice of determination and follow-up with collection. I guess I call them back and dispute this charge.

It's a 3D printed plug alignment plate. Without the plate, the plugs tend to tilt or not fully engaged.

Finally received my Extreme after few months of patience. I just want to acknowledge and express my gratitude for Emile taking his personal time after work and helped me set up the system. Now, I can't stop listening and the journey's just begun!

Just wondering if the USB card powers internally (PCI) or externally (DC-In)? What is the power requirement?

Just got a response from Chord. DAVE processes 32bits floating points natively, so it can take advantage of 32 bits DXD files without conversion.

I think 16/24bits DACs are fixed points and 32bits DACs are floating points just because of how the bits are stored and calculated. However, I will need to check with Chord for confirmation.
