TechDAS Air Force Zero in Hong Kong AV Show 2019

Nishikawa san is looking good and healthy for a 77 year old, he is clearly doing this because he loves it. Lets hope it is not his last design brought to market.

American Sound AS-2000 Installations- Far East (Andrew)

He has done well, very clever to cut the mirrorphonic bass cabinets in half as it almost looks compact as far as bass horn is concerned. Add 2 x 4181, 555 and 597's with a whole lotta 15a horn and you have a party in bangkok. I should also add pretty sweet deck as well:p You have done very well...

American Sound AS-2000 Installations- Far East (Andrew)

Thanks Mr K, Sweet speakers, very nicely done. Have not seen 15's sat on top of mirrorphonic inspired bass cabinets before. They must sound amazing Nothing like western electric to make a huge room look small. Regards

Sir Paul with James Cordon doing Carpool Kareoke---fantastic

The power of music, simply arranging notes and vocals can evoke such emotion. Even mccartney doesn't understand it. Cordon was taken straight back to the time and place his dad and grandfather played him a song, magic. You have to admire how unpretentious the man is, he didn't need to do this.

    New Doshi 3.0 phono pre

If Bruce's phono pre is 3.0 this must be 3.1? Looks like Nick has updated the chassis again with lcd front and remote control loading.

    New Doshi 3.0 phono pre

It would be interesting to see how it stacks up against the ypsilon and other top phono stages considering all love it seems to be getting. Nick didn't detail what had been changed from the older version when he chimed in and visually it looks like a new chassis excluding the second loading...

New flagship DAC from Weiss - Medus

Audio Explorations did you get a response back from weiss on actual spec of the medus? It looks like the only difference from medea+ is a new chassis with digital display and the power transformer has been put in a biscuit tin "mu metal" for better shielding but not a new transformer as such...

    Kuzma 4 point

Thanks for your response Marcus, i guess my question really needs to be answered individually as i have asked the same question to another 4 point owner that replaced it with an Airline his response was "If you know the improvement in performance that a 4P brings over most other arms, i...

Tape, tape, tape, and Ki Choi

Yes a big thank you to Ki Choi for sharing his knowledge and time also Bruce for recording it. Interesting comments from Ki on buying tape from the evil bay as being a complete crap shoot. It seems there are many people willing to take that bet with reels selling for over $1000 being quite...

    Review: Durand Telos Tonearm

A well thought out review jazdoc you were clearly smitten with this arm at the time of writing. This thread was started nearly 2 years ago i wonder if there is any news on a Telos Mk2 or even a completely new designed arm to be released?
