LampizatOr Horizon - Tube Rolling Paradise

Just wanted to mention, that there is a hope for those, who didn’t catch the train called Valvo G2504 mesh. Marconi/Osram U12 / U14. Available still with mesh anodes. The sound is like you’d expect from oldest British tubes: warm, full bodied and vocals to die for.

Lampizator Valve / Tube Rolling Review Thread

Hello! It is known that mesh anodes have their own character, liked and appreciated, but what about nickel anodes, are they worth interest? Has anyone tried? Such valves are rare and among the earliest ever made. There is not much about in internet. And, by the way, has anyone tried cool...

Telefunken made AZ12 mesh, with wide black anodes. I can sell one NIB - pm.

No, it is not the 45 setting. I don't have heater switch with many adjustments, just a toggle to choose between two. During Engine11 upgrade I asked for a change from setting "300B" to "01" tube familly. At the moment my toggle works "45" vs "01" and I'm sure, those two are not the same. I wish...

You clearly stated what you think of the Lukasz engineering skills and about his products. As you can read in this thread, and in some other as well, there are people who dare to disagree and sure, you’re not the only one who “knows decent engineer” and dislike hum. Hope you enjoy your system...

Lampizator Valve / Tube Rolling Review Thread

I jumped into this thread happy to read new posts, and found yours. You must have been frustrated and angry for Lukasz and really wanted some kind of revenge. Hope those feelings are not alive in you anymore, and if you are calmer you might see different perspective. You started thread, that’s...

    Warsaw AVS show 2022

Some people found Blumenhofer sharp, unpleasant. That definitely wasn't my case. Direct, lifelike, smooth presentation just blew me away. Splendid! A friend of mine had the same observation. Though it still doesn't change my other judgement - music was simply played too loud there, as in most of...

Hello. If all you need is a bit of tubey midrange magic and you use current production recti, old recti might be just, what you're looking for.

    Modern speakers vs Vintage speakers

@thomask congrats the Altecs. Looks like they have a comfortable home for years now and yes, they fit the room, the view, perfectly. I read you have to wait till February for 300b repair, wouldn’t be nice to meet and compare my vintage amplifiers ? Probably, but we are Ocean apart. If you can...

That is unusual RCA tube and I have never seen it before. I do like the oldest, smooth plate, D getter RCA rectifers and belive this one might be good too.

@Golum, you've had before so many rectis to try, that it is very nice for me to read you like those old ones too. 5R4GY from Fivre is still one of my favorite and I use it most of the time in my Lampi. However, it is also good to know Fivre made different 5R4GY versions. I have four types and...

FINALLY Found A Listening Chair I Want

That's my favorite. Missed the opportunity to buy one at special price - isn't cheap, and regret ever since. Need start to collect some side money, but it is nearly impossible as I spent more than I have for old tubes. :)
