    I ran avantgarde 107db with XA-25 and Nagra Classic Pre (-120db noise floor) Although AG always played best with tube amps imho. Once hiss is heard its quite annoying.

    Thanks for the replies. I will pull out the usb microscope and measure VTA. The loading Pcb sits correctly as it seems. Can I assume you both consider the SUT on bps fine with 1ohm load on primary?

    Very complicated/over-engineered way of solving the motorized function of the Alps RK501. They start with an entry level motorized alps RK168 (Only used as motor!) Then over to another DC-motor. Then finally to the RK501.

    Hi! Anybody here compared Zanden 3100 vs. Zanden 3000(mk1)? There are obvious advantages to both; as looks for the 3000 and remote for the 3100. How about sound? My amps are Lamm ML's. Thanks. (Pardon if the question is posted in wrong forum:thread. I am new to WBF)
