    I suggest to move on from Roon and try other solutions. There's a few alternatives that sound better although user experience from Roon is better than most of them. I'm using JPLAY app in my iPad streaming to my server now.

    I play music with air conditioner with a lot of free space on separated rack. I don't think it's heat issue.     You can but it's probably not as good as last excellent sounding 1.8 version like OP said before. These issues in 2.0 made me reconsider since when did I become a man who sacrifice sound quality for prettier UI? And I went back to my personal roots again.
