Another good link.

It's very cool to discover new musicians we like...it expands our musical horizon...all about jazz.

Today is quiet here on the waterfront, I'm outside on a gorgeous day. But jazz still plays in my head, I can hear some distant saxophone player. :)

In the now (it's raining outside) ...

Très relaxant.

In keeping up on the same traditional line ...

Not only it is jazz/classical enormously relaxing music for the brain and soul but it is also very well recorded and reproduced...with the sound of that guitar full, the fingers sliding on the fretboard, and the delay of the strings giving the studio venue its measured acoustics.
The mics positioned with expertise, the overall atmosphere a delight @ home in the comfort of strangers ...

Or more accurately, What am I not listening too.
Long time fan of Patricia Barber, seen her three times and always impressed.
Just found out she has a new album out but not yet available on download (DXD) or on LP.

Recording details are pretty impressive.

Recorded and mixed by Jim Anderson
Recorded at Chicago Recording Compay, Studio 5, Chicago, IL January 2019
Assistant Engineer: Jonathan Lackey
Mixed at Skywalker Sound, a Lucasfilm. Ltd. company, Marin County, CA February 2019
Assistant Engineer: Dann Thompson
Mastered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering, Portland, Maine
Technical Producer: Ulrike Schwarz
This project was recorded, mixed, and mastered in High Resolution DXD (352.8kHz/32bit) using a Horus/Pyramix recording system.

After a weekend festival listening to Kamasi Washington, Ezra Collective, Kurt Vile, Toro y Moi, James Blake and Beach House
I needed something a little lighter so here’s a great album of ‘jazz’ interpretations of Hollywood songs.

When I click on Play Now or II Pause @ the bottom left the music doesn't start playing. :)
{I'm only humorous}

I've checked few songs of her and I like her voice and the music arrangement.
