Three teams are good enough to win the East - Boston, Milwaukee and Philadelphia.

I say the Bucks will win the Eastern Conference next year - based on my best guess.

I agree that the Clippers are certain winners in the West. :D

Actually , next season should be a lot of fun with quite a few very good teams fighting it out in both conferences.

More fun when one team isn't dominant.

Agree. Had Kawhi gone to the Lakers, then it mostly will be blowout wins and sure wins. Fans will have little incentive to watch.

A Boston-Philly playoff game will have drama, as Al Horford will be playing against his old team. Celtics fans hold little grudge on his departure, it was done in pro fashion, all about the business. Will Kanter fill the hole? Not really. Tatum has to transcend into an All Star for the C's to get successful. And Brown has to be a consistent point producer. He was lost as to what position he is best due to the insertion of Hayward and now he really has to stick and perfect his 2 role. High hopes for Kemba, nothing but high hopes in the mold of one Jalen Rose. :D

Once Doc has his solid first 5 cast, expect them to do the full grind as his style usually does that. Having a microwave like Lou Williams really helps. :)

So here’s my question to all you guys here.....

Forget about the west for a moment

Who will emerge out of the East. I thought the Bucks looked average at best. I did like Sixers and I like Celts.

I guess I’m really asking if the Bucks just got lucky last year. Giannis in the playoffs also looked average

And of course will the Clipps emerge from the west

It’s also about injuries as we saw this past finals.

I like the C's chances inthe East, Steve. They can edge the Bucks , imo, now that we do not have that so called Kyrie daydreaming in March bout having fun in New York. A focused team of Brad can give the Bucks some problems. And yes, Giannis is unstoppable in the open court, and it is a given he will score 25-30 points a game, so the D has to control the output of Middleton. Mirotic is gone to Europe. He was a tough guy to defend as he can hit 3s, being that tall.

I just thought that the Bucks looked like a fish out of water in the playoffs

If the C's get to face the Bucks next season, Brad need to study the tapes of the Bucks loss to the Raptors. :)

AD would have to fire Rich Paul first. :D

Lakers' Anthony Davis would 'definitely consider' Bulls move

"I mean, [this is] definitely [my] hometown," Davis told the Chicago Tribune. "If the opportunity ever presents itself and when that time comes, I'd definitely consider it."

"A lot of these kids are from the same neighbourhoods that I'm from. And so to have someone come back that they can relate to, I think that's a huge impact on them," Davis said.

He hasn't played a game for the Lakers and even though he is talking championship with the Lakers he also opens his mouth and says he would play for his hometown Bulls

Once again a classical tale of the tail wagging the dog

My thoughts exactly, Steve. I wonder why his big brother James will say about that. Umm, let's have lunch again, AD.

I must admit that looking at the teams with the dynamic duos and then looking at the supporting cast one has to wonder if any of them will be able to rise to the occasion and carry their team to the finish line. Lakers and Clippers supporting cast are only so-so. Nets aren't even on the radar for next year

I still wonder if the Bucks had a fluke year last year as they were terrible in the playoffs. So that leaves the Celts

I would like to think that the Celtics' woes are primarily that of low morale. With new guys arriving, Brad will be back to square 1 from tilt year when only 3 or 4 players were from the previous season. Brown, Tatum and Hayward need to be their anchors, not just Walker. Celtics have little help off the bench too, mostly their draft picks. They don't have much draft picks in the future so this batch ought to perform as well and be somebodies or they will be nobodies very soon. Overall, I like this team better than last.

That would be cool and make them immortal. To come back against all odds and win another title :cool:

I just don't think Klay will be ready in time to make a difference
Let's hope for the best, then

I think the battles will be epic and hopefully injuries won't dictate the outcomes. Having said that wouldn't it be great if someone else rose to the occasion such as the Blazers. Lillard is amazing
