That's a great piece of hardware, I have thought of adding a second one at home, what did you think, were you able to audition it?

It's a great Kit. Quite compact and versatile. Is it a CH Precision or a Jeff Rowland Daemon....No But for this price it's AMAZING ! Great for a second system. Just my opinion.

Yes, I agree, and depending on your price point, no slouch for a primary system.

Devialet needs a lot of care and fine tuning - including cables and the usual audiophile stuff - but if properly matched can sound very musical. When improperly used it can sound too detailed, analytical or sterile. The latest version is really much better sounding than the original. Most people can not forget their poor experiences with the original D-Premier, that was a completely different animal. BTW, at shows they usually try to put away listeners  , playing their systems at insane levels!

I still prefer a well setup Meridian system than a Devialet based system personally.

Hi Sunny

Would you mind expanding a little bit on the comparisons with the other integrateds? In what ways do the other integrateds sound better? I am currently using a Devialet D200 and am wondering if I should try out other integrateds or just upgrade within the Devialet family to the D440 Pro.

I like the all-in-one box compact design of the Devialet D200. Stream to it using a Sony HAPZ1-ES and use a Rega RP6 to spin discs.
