The Lampizator user manual indicates it is optimal/most prudent to leave the DAC powered up continuously (with exceptions, C.E.s, and so on). I'm leaving mine powered up, but wish it was not necessary to do so. I'd appreciate hearing opinions on this topic from others.
On my Pacific with volume control you can turn the on/off button on the remote and unit goes down to 0 volume and the front panel turns off. You can also power down the unit by turning the on/off switch on the back of the unit. My understanding is that the latter turns off the unit completely, while the former puts the unit in standby.

Never turn off the back switch as this is the op amp that powers the system and turning off and on will take days rather than hours to stabilize.
I always turn mine off between listening sessions but either from the remote or the switch at the bottom front. Leave the back switch always on
Unless the tubed are switched off, afaik most tube equipment manufacturers tell you that leaving tube equipment on is a potential fire hazard. I don't know if they have a standby mode that just powers off the tubes, or not, so due to tube usage and fire potentials I would turn it off if it is still sending power to the tubed otherwise.
Interesting question. I am curious what other Baltic3 owners do ? My B3 only has a power on/off at the IEC and wanting to save tube life, I always turn off the unit after listening. I do not see any standby kind of function like all other DACs where the clocks and critical parts are always kept powered on. IMO, Lampizator should incorporate this in all their DACs regardless of the price.
I turn mine off at the front switch and leave the back on. From what I gather the small signal tube and the dht if you leave the pac on is generally fine but the rectifier can have a shortened life . It was suggested that if you leave the pac on to hot swap the rectifier out when you finish your listening
Same as many above, I switch off with button when not in use. Tube life is however also determined by on/off cycles (thermionic shock) rather than just actual hours of usage, so there is a dilemma here and a serious tube head I know leaves his entire system fully switched on all the time.

I was told that when you mute the DAC the rectifier is the only tube that is still on so not beneficial to leave front switch on but in mute “00” position
The recti is in need to be off as it burns all the time if on. The other tubes I doubt it matters and I don’t know what is done on the H dac
on my other lampi dacs always on but off by remote only on my pac and gg2 set tubes are on
not recti. i think as Steve says if all off and cold it takes a long while
to be great
