FL a definite experience but extremely tough to get a reservation. Much easier to get one at Per Se.

If you have time I highly recommend taking a tour of Promontory which is part of the Harlan group. Very different vibe as the vinyards are higher up in the hills. Simply lovely and we had the place pretty much to ourselves when we went.

Per Se is excellent but FL is a once in a lifetime experience. I suggest you talk to your concierge as your hotel is very noteworthy and you’d be surprised as to how much pull the hotel alone might have plus a “Benjamin” to the concierge might get you in. But be prepared. It’s $$$$ expensive Reservations usually open 90 days in advance and they are gone within hours. Try your concierge and bring a Benjamin or two as it might help. It’s a once in a lifetime experience as you’re lucky to get in once in a life time

Thank you, but neither of us is interested in spending $500 or more per person for dinner.

I can’t disagree with that Ron. I lived up there for 19 years and could only manage a reservation once. Try Mustards. You’ll love it. We always had lunch there it’s great and right on the highway south of Yountville

Thank you for the suggestions.

We are here only for four nights.

After the long drive up on Tuesday we ate at Bottega the first night.

Our main dinners were tasting menus at La Toque for our second evening, and then Auberge du Soleil last night for our anniversary dinner.

This afternoon and tonight we will be having a walking tour of wine bars and restaurants in Downtown Napa.

We head home tomorrow morning.
 
If you are walking around Napa, you might stop in at Folklore; it’s a combination bar/cafe and record shop. If you have time, you might drive 20 minutes from Yountville to St. Helena.

Mustard's Grill is famous for their pork chop, you probably knew that. I had it about a month ago, it didnt disapoint.

indeed. I can't count the number of times we have been to Mustard's. More than any other restaurant in the Napa Valley
 
Slightly delayed 30th anniversary trip here, currently on Naoshima Island in Japan. After a while you stop counting and it just becomes a reason for a nice trip.
