Aries Cerat DACs vs. other brands

I’m just getting acquainted with Aries Cerat and never tire of seeing lids-off photos of AC DACs and pre-amps with their shiny rows of transformers, capacitors and tubes neatly lined up like a giant heavy metal chessboard. Queen E280F? Then I recently learned where the USB input circuit was located, this relatively tiny blue card, seeming to float above the battlefield below. You have to be impressed with the contrast… and the design, when you realize how simply the USB card could be removed and a new card for an updated input protocol plugged in instead. No need to send the DAC back to Cyprus. In audio design, like chess, it’s wise to think a few moves ahead.
Ithaka Minor is on my wish list, I know I will get it ione day. For now we are ordering Impera, later this year Kassandra REF 2, Helene is great purchase, exceptional ratio value price/performance, I and few customers are very happy listeners with this dac. God bless Stavros, he really changes the game for me, my long journey ended, no more confussions.

There are only winners on this level among these three high end candidates. What it comes down to is to clarify the differences, considering the context and synergy and ultimately what makes your heart tick.

The Esoteric N-05XD is much more than a DAC, which I don't believe will reach the level of the other three as a stand alone DAC option.

In this price range it is the shark in the carp pond,

Kassandra Ref falls within a price range similar to the others. The Helene is an exceptional DAC, offering one of the most musical experiences I've encountered in this price category.

How do you plug the Aries Cerat? Direct from the wall / in a power split / in a power conditioner ? Is the bias stable at 230?
Still … For my part I would make an appointment , if feasible , in order to familiarise myself with the Aries Cerat way of doing digital , Helene circuit is similar in enough ways to Kassandra for one to extrapolate.
