Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

First of all I don't have one set system that I insert one component for another. My systems are changing daily. The Dacs that I use are Aqua Formula xHD, Rockna Wavedream, Jadis, CEC and Goldmund. I had the MSB Select II for six months but it was prior to the Extreme's arrival. My point...

An Unexpected Champion : Intona Ultimate USB Cable

Rhapsody is an Intona dealer and we sell the Ultimate USB along with the Intona Reference. No problem with buying it direct, but want for others to understand that we do sell the Ultimate.

    Alsyvox planars...prepare to sell your Magico's, YG's, Wilson's, Cessaro's. Maggie's, and all others!!

Thx, I had no idea if you had the actual experience with Alsyvox. I totally understand as the Botticelli give a LOT of what the Carravagio gives. I would estimate that for most, even rooms on the larger size, the Botticelli sans Xover is the sweet spot of the Alsyvox line. I was asking if you...

    Alsyvox planars...prepare to sell your Magico's, YG's, Wilson's, Cessaro's. Maggie's, and all others!!

I would assume from your comments that you have seen and heard the Botticelli with and without the external Xovers to make your determination regarding the value of the Xovers? No big deal, just wondering if you have actual experience with the Botticelli? There are also acrylic Xover versions...

VYGER now available in the US

    Hi Tang, Amazement;)

VYGER now available in the US

It's an illusion and even standing in the room at certain angles it appears as such, but from the side or with a level on it, it's straight. The reason is the front of the shelves are bowed outward/convex. I'll let you know if it all comes crashing down:)

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

The one thing that I have experienced is the dac differences become less in my systems once I started using the Extreme. It's almost hard for me to pinpoint the differences regarding which dac I connect to the Extreme. Each dac/system produces excellent sound and none of the systems with...

You don't need that much room for the Tintoretto and you get a LOT of the Alsyvox sound from them. They are 54" H X 22" W X 2" deep.

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Really Brad, if you think it's appropriate to continue with it here have at it. Not a problem for me, who am I to suggest otherwise. I don't have to participate or interfere with the debate or discussion if it bothers me. I won't. Enjoy.

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Here is a good example of the same thing that happened in another thread. The thread was about Alsyvox speakers. It got bogged down and the suggestion was made to start a new thread exploring the subject that was bogging down the Alsyvox thread. Ron, graciously started a new thread and now...

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

I received the Plixir power supply a few days and connected it to the Intona usb 3.0 isolater. I didn't think I would be able to tell much of a difference. Wrong. It was a significant uptick in dynamics (macro and micro) and presence. Items way back in the soundstage had much more presense...

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

That's great then why not start a thread for those that want to discuss digital theory? This thread has been about a specific product, the Extreme, and how it works in different systems. How it interfaces to modems via FO. How it connects to DACs via usb or is AES/EBU a better connection in...
