    I would think the digital interface would be powered internally by the BPS the same way as a USB card this not need a DC jack, unless I misunderstood your post?

    I have 1.75” clearance between my rug and the bottom of the Extreme, and the fan is only 1” thick. The sound of the fan should be lower underneath, if it moves enough air from there to matter. My footers are Townshend Pods, ergo the height.

    What are specifics on your fan, if someone wanted that exact fan? It looks like it’s got footers that wouldn’t rattle during operation if you have access to the specific one, 80mm or 120mm, I would appreciate it.
